Escape Rooms. The Paddocks Business Centre, Cherry Hinton Road, Cambridge
In teams of 2-6 you have 60 minutes to escape a locked room using only the power of your brain. An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players solve a series of puzzles using clues, hints and strategy to complete the objectives at hand. Clues can be anywhere, behind a curtain, under the floorboards or hidden in secret lettering around the room. Can you figure out the clues and get out in time?
Rally Karting, Kings Ripton, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, PE28 2NX
Rally Karting offers you the chance to experience the excitement and exhilaration of off-road karting. Their 400cc rally karts, with zero-roll suspension, all-terrain tyres and a full race Corbeau seat with full safety harness, are easy to drive so no previous experience is necessary although as you will see, a good driver can really make them fly! Be safe, have fun.
Flight Studio. Stapleford, Cambridge, CB22 5SY
Do you fancy wearing the captain’s hat, taking up their position in the pilot’s seat, and grabbing the controls on one of those classic routes through the skies? This particular cockpit is a purpose-built, spacious studio, in a leafy garden setting just outside Cambridge. Flight Studio Cambridge offers an incredible real-time experience that gives you the chance to fly a Boeing 737 from inside a life size replica cockpit that’s so close to the real thing that qualified airline pilots and trainees actually use it for their training. Various flight packages available, from hour-long flights to full-day adventures, where things may not go as smoothly as hoped.
Tenpin Bowling. Cambridge Leisure Park, Clifton Way, Cambridge, CB1 7DY
Whether you are looking for a fun packed family day out, or catching up with friends and colleagues, bowling is a great way to team up and enjoy a day or evening out. Make sure to celebrate a strike (especially after seeing your ball hit the gutters too many times to remember). Cosmic bowling nights (flashing lights, louder music…basically a disco whilst you bowl) are available from 6pm most evenings.
There are so many more fun things to do in Cambridge other than what we’ve listed here, for any more information on things to do in Cambridge just ask our front desk and they would be happy to recommend.
